How to Toggle Between Profiles in the Client Portal

Many Bittel Books & Taxes clients will have access to more than one profile in the Client Portal, such as personal, business, family members, trusts, etc. Each profile is kept separate to ensure accuracy, security, and proper document management.

Follow these steps to toggle between profiles on the Web:

  1. Log in to the Client Portal.
  2. On any tab, click the name in the bottom left corner of the screen where it reads "Switch Accounts" (as shown here).
  3. In the list that pops up, select the client portal you want to view (as shown here). The portal will automatically refresh and load the selected account.
  4. Confirm you are in the correct profile by checking the profile name displayed on the screen before uploading documents, signing forms, or sending messages.

It's as easy as that! Navigating between profiles in Canopy is designed to be simple, and once you are familiar with it, managing multiple accounts becomes seamless.
